Insights from Edens View | Your Invisible Frameworks Are Costing You

Reader ,

Last week Max Bernstein and I hosted a webinar called "AI for Leaders Who Want to Remain Human." If you were there, thank you. The conversation was one of the most energizing hours I've had in a long time.

If you missed it, here's what you need to know.

Most of us assume that expertise makes us better teachers. The opposite is true. The better you get at something, the more your process disappears from conscious awareness. You stop being able to explain the very thing that makes you valuable.

Max calls this the Expertise Paradox. And what he showed us on Wednesday was how to reverse it.

He walked through live examples of expertise extraction. Gordon Ramsay making scrambled eggs with 15+ micro-decisions he can't articulate. Magnus Carlsen playing blindfolded chess against 12 opponents simultaneously. Real client work where invisible decision-making patterns were surfaced for the first time.

Including mine.

Max has been helping me extract my own coaching frameworks for over six months now. Patterns I've been using for 20 years that I couldn't have named or taught without this process. Seeing them clearly has changed how I create content, how I coach, and how I think about the intellectual property sitting inside every conversation I have.

Here's what stuck with me most: your transcripts are your most valuable data source. Every client call, every team meeting, every coaching conversation contains frameworks you didn't know you had. Not generic AI content. Your actual thinking, made visible.

Three things became clear during the webinar:

You can finally differentiate yourself. AI generates endless generic content. It can't pull out the frameworks you've built through decades of real work. But only if you can see them and name them.

You can spot expensive patterns. The decisions you make unconsciously create patterns you literally cannot see. Some are gold. Some are costly mistakes on repeat.

You can turn conversations into intellectual property. Every transcript holds frameworks waiting to be discovered. Max showed us exactly how to mine them.

If this resonates, and you're curious about what working with Max could look like for your own expertise extraction, reply to this email. I'll send you a link to book a conversation with him directly.

Stay tuned; I'll continue to share more about my journey with AI tools the next few weeks.

With Anticipation,

David Limiero
