Here Are Two Painful Truths About Transformation...
I love to read. More than that, I love to learn. Over the years, I’ve averaged 20 or more books a year for more than 40 years.
But I’ve also had plenty of experiences where all that learning didn’t stick—hours spent listening to talking heads, on or offline, or reading dozens of books and blog articles, only to realize later that the information never turned into lasting change.
There have been many times when I’ve invested in training, hoping it would lead to transformation, only to have it remain just that—information.
Why is this so often the case?
There are two painful truths we have to face.

Painful Truth #1: Information does not equal transformation. We are surrounded by more information than ever before—books, videos, courses, social media, and more. Simply knowing something doesn’t mean it changes us. Knowledge does not equal wisdom, much less transformation — even knowledge that’s skillfully presented.
Painful Truth #2: Inspiration does not equal transformation. A great speaker or a powerful message can give us that warm burst of motivation—but without application, it fades. Feeling inspired is wonderful, but it’s not the same as lasting change.

Think about the last piece of advice, insight, or training that provided you with knowledge and inspiration...but stopped there. Why did this training inspire you and why haven't you taken action? |
Review one recent training (webinar, book, podcast, etc.)
Choose one action item to implement —no overhauls, just one concrete move forward.
Let's move from information and inspiration to true transformation.
Stay tuned for our next email -- where you'll learn the four key elements that lead to transformation.
